About Us

Massage can facilitate the body's natural healing processes by increasing circulation, loosening gluteated tissue, and relaxing the nervous system.  Massage can also enhance body awareness and improve your overall sense of well-being.  Most treatments are offered in 30, 60, or 90 minute sessions.  Click here for pricing and packages.

We offer the following modalities:

Swedish
A a great modality for flushing areas of pain, stiffness, and tension due to accumulated toxins.  A very soothing and calming modality, great for relieving stress and encouraging deep relaxation.  Swedish massage can benefit people with fibromyalgia, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, or general achiness and stiffness.

Deep Tissue/Neuromuscular/Trigger Point
Great for breaking down specific areas of toxin buildup (often felt as "knots").  The pressure used is much firmer than in Swedish and the therapists works closely with the client to find the depth needed to achieve the release of muscular tension.  Deep Tissue massage can benefit people with specific areas of high muscle tension (knots), sports-related pain and tension, chronically tight areas, or weekend warriors!

Myofascial Release
A gentle modality aimed at stretching out the body's connective tissue (tissue that wraps around muscles and tendons) thereby relieving muscle tension.  The process of stretching is slow, allowing for realignment of the body's basic structure and deep relaxation of long-held spasms.  Myofascial Release massage can benefit people with fibromyalgia, low pain thresholds, postural problems, ligament and tendon problems or muscle spasms.

Craniosacral Therapy
Often described as "the best neck massage I ever had,"  CST aims at releasing areas of tension in the neck, spine, and between the bones in the skull.  The work is extremely subtle and clients report feeling a range from deep relaxation to huge shifts within themselves, leading to relief from pain and tension.  People suffering from neck pain and tension, tension headaches, back problems, slipped discs, spinal fusion, scoliosis, back or neck injuries, whiplash, old or recent, TMJ or intra-oral pain will benefit from CST.

Muscle Release Technique (TM)
Combining stretching with massage enables the therapist to lengthen shortened and tense muscles.  Client education on correct stretching techniques will keep you pain free!  Everyone should get TM!  This is the ticket to a pain free way of life.  Let's work together!

European Hot Stone Massage
A therapeutic and deeply relaxing treatment that combines Swedish technique and Deep Tissue goals with heated basalt and granite rocks.  The heat and weight of the stones used during the massage melt the tension away.  This treatment take 1.5 hours.  This massage can benefit people with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.  People with low blood pressure or those with cardiac conditions or eating disorders may NOT use this therapy.

Ear Candling
This therapy uses a lighted cone of beeswax and linen inserted comfortably in the ear to create a vacuum which clears the ear canal and sinus of wax and debris.  The treatment takes about 45 minutes and includes a very relaxing face massage. Anyone who is suffering from chronic sinus problems, ear wax buildup, and allergies can benefit from this therapy.

Ginger Tea Treatment
A detoxifying treatment which removes built up toxins and metabolic wastes in the body.  The client is draped in towels which have been soaked in hot water with grated ginger for 20-30 minutes, then reapplied for 30 minutes allowing the ginger to absorb deep into the muscle tissue.  While applying the towels, we will be doing a massage.  This treatment takes 90 minutes.  It is perfect for clients who are very stressed and take a long time to relax, as well as people with very tight muscles.

Sugar Scrubs
Add a Ginger Citrus Sugar Scrub or Pampermint Sugar Coat to any massage.  Your therapist will use select Arbonne Swiss skin care products to gently exfoliate your feet.  If you are interested, please let us know when you make your appointment.

Prenatal Massage
A gentle, relaxing touch, helping ease your transition through your pregnancy.  Some contraindications may prevent specific work.

Sports Massage
Our expertise with professional sports teams allows us to customize a session based on the sport of choice.  Pre and Post event work as well as working with the athlete in training is available.
